The kit accommodates up to 12 padlocks on the lid and can also be used as a lock storage box for up to 40 padlocks. It allows the use of one lock on each energy control point, with the keys securely stored in the lockout box; each worker then places their own lock on the box to prevent access. This system ensures that each employee retains exclusive control, as required by OSHA, by placing their own lock on the lockout box that contains the keys to the job locks. Importantly, as long as any one worker's lock remains on the lockout box, the keys to the job locks inside cannot be accessed, ensuring safety and compliance.
