Clamp-on breaker lockouts feature a patented thumbscrew design for easy installation without the need for screwdrivers; users can simply tighten the lockout securely onto the switch tongue, pull the cover over the thumbscrew, and lock the cover to prevent loosening of the clamp. This device accepts lock shackles up to 9/32" in diameter and is constructed from rugged polypropylene and impact-modified nylon. It includes cleats (#65404) for compatibility with breakers that have long sliding switch throws, making it extremely versatile for use on a wide range of single-pole and internal-trip multi-pole breakers. Proper use of these lockout tools and warning devices can enhance workplace safety, reduce employee downtime, and lower insurance costs.
