The gate valve lockouts are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene, providing exceptional durability and resistance to impact and chemicals, with the ability to endure temperatures ranging from -20°F to 300°F. Designed with a unique knockout center, they accommodate OS&Y or "rising stem" valves, enhancing their versatility. The lockouts are compatible with padlock shackles measuring up to 3/8" in diameter, allowing for secure locking. Each unit includes danger labels in English, Spanish, and French to communicate safety messages effectively. To use, simply cover the valve handle with the device and apply a personal padlock along with a lockout tag, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
