The electrical cord lockout kit is designed to prevent unauthorized or accidental plug-in of power cords, thereby safeguarding equipment and machinery. This kit includes a tamper-resistant, hinge-style enclosure that fully contains the plug, featuring lockhole tabs for security. To utilize the lockout function, simply insert the electrical cord through the side opening, close it, and secure it with a padlock (padlock sold separately). It is constructed entirely of plastic and is shaped as a universal "Stop" octagon in safety red. The enclosure fits most 110 VAC plugs measuring up to 1 1/4"H x 1 1/4"W x 2"L, accommodating cords with a maximum diameter of 1/2". The overall dimensions of the case are 2 1/4"H x 2 1/4"W x 3.5"L.
