This lockout hasp allows for the change out, insertion, and securing of a lockout tag for each lockout situation. The bright safety red and contrasting black design features an unmistakable stop-shaped octagon front panel shield that contains a visible lockout tag. The compact hasp body measures 5 1/4" x 3" and holds a specially designed lockout tag while securing with a padlock (padlock sold separately). Constructed from lightweight, durable, all-dielectric plastic, the hasp includes a 1/4" wide loop for inserting into the lockout device. It hangs from a 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" closed oval loop. Users can fill out the lockout tag and insert it through the top hole over the octagon-shaped tab inside the hasp. The 2 1/4" octagon panel can be closed to hold the tag in place, ensuring that the lockout message and sign-off information remain visible. The design permits secure locking by up to three padlocks (sold separately) and complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, meeting the necessary device needs.
