The Lockout Hasp features a large reach designed to withstand tough and abusive environments, comprising a scissor-style construction made of two high-strength .090" thick red anodized aluminum plates. When closed, the holes align to accommodate up to six padlocks, while the jaw ends are offset to crossover when closed to prevent prying and tampering. The hasp provides a true 1 1/2" round reach with a full jaw opening, and its inside corners are angled-cut to avoid interference with critical space during operation. The hasp is shaped like a recognizable tag, measuring 7"H x 2 3/4"W, and incorporates bold, contrasting red, white, and black lockout hazard message labels on both sides, allowing for the inclusion of necessary information. It also features a smooth aluminum finish and meets device needs in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 standards.
