Constructed from tough plastic in a bright hazard red color, it includes a shackle hole compatible with a padlock (sold separately) for added security. The unique pry guard design effectively prevents the insertion of a screwdriver between the halves, enhancing tamper resistance. The kit's center thinner area allows for easy drilling and attachment on rising stem gate valves. It also comes with a safety label adorned with red diagonal hazard stripes, providing space to write relevant lockout information, while its red octagon shape reinforces the lockout status, conveying a clear "stop" message.
