The kit includes a unique gull-wing design lockout specifically designed to stop ball valves from being turned. This easy-to-use lockout features two wingspan halves that hinge, allowing it to quickly and simply secure over any closed ball valve handle. It can be secured with a padlock (sold separately), positioned to keep the tag visible on top. Made from bright red durable plastic, this device accommodates ball valve handles that are either perpendicular or parallel to the pipe. It complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, ensuring safety standards are met. The device fits ball valves with a size range of 3/8" to 1 1/4" (approximate overall size: 3 1/8" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"), and is compatible with handles up to 5/8" wide and 1/4" thick.
