The unique gull-wing design lockout is specifically crafted to prevent the turning of stop ball valves, featuring an easy-to-use mechanism with two wingspan halves that hinge to quickly and securely cover any closed ball valve handle. It can be easily fastened with a padlock (sold separately), ensuring the tag remains on top and visible at all times. This bright red plastic device is compatible with ball valve handles oriented either perpendicularly or parallel to the pipe, making it versatile for various applications. It meets device requirements in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and is constructed from durable plastic to fit ball valves ranging from 1 1/2" to 2" in size, with approximate overall dimensions of 4 1/2" x 5 2/3" x 5 2/3". Additionally, it accommodates handles measuring up to 1 1/2" in width and 1/2" in thickness.
