The lockout device is designed to securely keep circuit breakers in the off position, ensuring safety during maintenance. It fastens tightly onto single-pole circuit breakers, providing a solid lockout that can be applied and removed easily. The device features a unique design that combines a setscrew and metal jaws for an optimum secure grip, requiring only a standard flathead screwdriver for application. It accommodates padlock shackles with a diameter of up to 9/32" (sold separately) and fits most single-pole circuit breaker sizes. The overall dimensions are 13/16"W x 3"L x 3/4", with an opening width of 11/32" and depth of 3/8" to fit circuit breaker toggle switches. Additionally, the slim, low-profile design allows for easy storage and complies with OSHA standards outlined in 29 CFR 1910.147.
