The 1601-380 traffic barrier gate operator with straight arm and loop detector package is designed for single lane (14 ft. max) vehicular traffic control in high traffic commercial and industrial applications, capable of being mounted on either the left or right-hand side of the roadway. This operator features magnetic limit control ports for plug-in loop detectors, automatic sequencing inputs suitable for use with slide and swing gate operators, an up input memory buffer, down memory option, multiple up commands, and two convenience outlets. It includes a 360° gear box rotation, gate tracker reporting output, and programming switches. The unit is powered by a 1/2 HP continuous-duty motor with a 40:1 gear box running in a continuous oil bath, providing a 1-1/2 second open time. Dimensions of the operator (excluding additional components) are 15.25"W x 39.5"H x 14.75"D, and it is suitable for Class II, III, and IV applications. The operator is compliant with UL 325 and 991, and is ETL listed. To ensure compliance with UL 325 and industry safety guidelines, additional secondary entrapment prevention devices may need to be installed. The system operates with 115 V electronic limit settings and includes DKS patent pending loop logic for vehicular and pedestrian detection. The package features a 5-year limited warranty and includes the barrier gate operator kit with a 115V, 1/2HP motor, a 14' aluminum arm, mounting hardware, a single channel loop detector, a MicroPlus/MicroClick receiver, an antenna kit, and 10 Micro-Plus transmitters.
