The Manhole Ventilation Passthru (MVP) is engineered to maintain and redirect air flow with minimal restriction into manholes, sewers, and tanks. It uniquely integrates a low profile manhole air vent, elbow, and built-in mounting system into a single unit. Included with the MVP is a collapsible duct made from vinyl and polyester with PVC coating, capable of withstanding heat up to 180 degrees, stored in a compact storage bag that allows for easy deployment via a quick release drawstring. Once the worker descends into the manhole, the duct springs back into shape for optimal airflow. The manhole cover is designed to fit into a flat channel corner for stabilization, and the entire unit is constructed from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), ensuring it is compact, lightweight, and not statically conductive. The MVP is easy to store, ships in one small carton, and is recyclable.
