These axially assembled internal retaining rings are constructed from zinc plated spring steel and are designed for installation using needle-nose pliers into a housing or bore. Their tapered design allows the ring to maintain constant pressure against axles, gears, and bearings within machinery housings, effectively preventing slippage. With a high thrust load rating, these housing rings provide a shoulder that retains components more effectively than spiral or constant section rings. They are available in both metric and imperial sizes and come in stacked rolls to prevent tangling, ensuring ease of handling.
