The 1-1/4" internal housing ring is a stamped component made from 15-7 / 17-7 stainless steel, manufactured in the USA. These axially assembled internal retaining rings are crafted from zinc plated spring steel and are designed for easy installation with needle-nose pliers into a housing or bore. Their tapered design ensures that the ring maintains constant pressure against axles, gears, and bearings within machinery housings, effectively preventing slippage. The housing rings are characterized by a high thrust load rating and provide a shoulder that retains components more effectively than spiral or constant section rings. They are available in both metric and imperial sizes, and are offered in stacked rolls to prevent tangling and facilitate handling. Each model is sold in packs of 10, with a minimum order requirement of 7 packs, resulting in a total of 70 pieces.
