Gate valve lockout devices are designed to deny access and cover the valve handle, featuring a unique knockout center that fits OS&Y or "rising stem" valves. Constructed from extremely rugged injection-molded polypropylene, these devices offer superior impact and chemical resistance. To enhance employee safety, users can cover the valve handle with the gate valve lockout device and apply a personal padlock and lockout tag. The device accepts padlock shackles with a diameter of up to 3/8" and comes supplied with danger labels in English, Spanish, and French.
