The 70mm carboy waste cap with 10 ports is an updated design from the previous 7-port version, specifically created to fit standard 70mm carboys from Thermo Fisher Nalgene. The complete kit includes (1) 10-port manifold waste/filling cap, (1) 1/2" plug, (3) 1/4" plugs, and (6) 1/4-28 plugs, with options for choosing tubing adapters separately based on preferred tubing sizes. The inner manifold is a wetted component constructed from either PTFE for optimal chemical resistance or more economical polypropylene for less demanding applications. The free-spinning polypropylene collar is designed to fit standard Nalgene 70mm openings, and the smallest hole accommodates 1/4-28 UNF tubing adapters, with specific parts available for 1/16" OD and 1/8" OD tubing. A single 1/2" NPT port is included for connection with the carbon filter WF-CF-100KIT. The manifolds can be configured to accept barbed tubing connections, compression fittings, and 1/4-28 fitting-and-ferrule sets, with designs that also allow for accommodating the EF-100 carbon filter and indicator. This cap is compatible with a 70mm opening on Nalgene brand carboys (such as NG-2214-0050) and similar products. The kit also includes a set of plugs for each hole not in use.
