These gasket strips are made from high strength neoprene rubber, also known as Spec Grade neoprene. This formulation is stronger and more durable than standard neoprene, making it suitable for more demanding applications. The higher neoprene content enhances durability, allowing the material to withstand exposure to sunlight, oil, and chemicals, while increasing strength by 50% over commercial neoprene. High strength neoprene rubber offers superior absorbing qualities and has a longer lifespan than standard neoprene.
