The N3C-R front cap is designed for the Dino-Lite Edge series and provides ring illumination for microscopes, enhancing macro observation by generating shadow-less illumination. With a diameter of 6.5 cm (2.5 inches), the N3C-R effectively utilizes the built-in LEDs of the Dino-Lite by redirecting light to create a focused, diffused, and uniform ring light. This accessory allows the use of polarizer models, such as AM4115ZT, for suppressing unwanted glare or reflection. The clip-on N3C-R is an economical solution that adds flexibility to Dino-Lite applications without the need for external ring light mounting or power, thus avoiding additional heat and weight. It has an optimal working distance of about 2 to 15 cm but is not suited for short working distances or compatible with high magnification models like AM4515T5 or AM4515T8.
