The DAX hard hat is a full brim, fiber reinforced resin hard hat that features a 6 point suspension system designed to provide superior comfort and impact protection. It incorporates an innovative Clarino® synthetic leather comfort dome and an oversized ratcheting fitment dial, allowing for easy size adjustments even when wearing gloves. The hard hat includes a fiber reinforced resin shell, designed for superior impact protection, and a brim grip that ensures a secure feel. The interior features a perforated Clarino® synthetic leather comfort dome with a molded EVA foam insert for additional shock-absorbing protection to the top of the head, and a moisture-wicking foam backed microfiber liner that reduces sweat build-up. The triple reinforced crown adds an extra layer of impact protection, while the hard hat meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 requirements for type 1 class G & C, or C.
