Orfilight® products are unique lightweight splinting materials that weigh 25 to 30% less than other materials, making them specifically designed to be lighter and more comfortable for patients. The non-stick (NS) version features a coating that prevents the material from adhering to bandages or cotton lining. This product is especially recommended for patients with loss of strength and/or fragile and sensitive skin, including elderly individuals as well as those undergoing pediatric or rheumatic treatments. Orfilight® is an ideal splinting material for fabricating post-surgical orthoses.
