Orfit® Classic is designed with excellent elastic and adhesive qualities, making it suitable for a wide range of orthosis types. This versatile material serves as a base for various attachments and allows for the fabrication of orthoses of different sizes, from very large to very small, depending on the selected thickness. It provides comfortable immobilization and stabilization of the complete thumb column, making it effective for treating conditions such as De Quervain tenosynovitis, rheumatoid arthritis, basal joint osteoarthritis, thumb sprain, and for pre- or post-operative thumb management. The product is available in different dimensions to accommodate various hand sizes: Small for hands sized 2.2" to 2.75", Medium for hands sized 3.13" to 3.5", and Large for hands sized 4" to 4.3".
