Orfilight® products are unique lightweight splinting materials that weigh 25 to 30% less than other materials, making them specifically designed to be lighter and more comfortable for patients. The non-stick (NS) version features a coating that prevents the material from adhering to bandages or cotton lining, which is especially beneficial for patients with reduced strength, fragile, or sensitive skin, such as elderly individuals and those undergoing pediatric or rheumatic treatments. This splinting material is ideal for fabricating post-surgical orthoses.
