Orfilight® products are unique lightweight splinting materials that weigh 25 to 30% less than other materials, making them specifically designed to be lighter and more comfortable for patients. The non-stick (NS) version features a coating that prevents the material from adhering to bandages or cotton lining, making it especially suitable for patients with loss of strength, fragile and sensitive skin, such as the elderly, or in pediatric and rheumatic treatments. This splinting material is ideal for fabricating post-surgical orthoses.
