The Gooseneck hitch plate from Buyers Products is an all-steel assembly designed to bolt to your truck frame and body, or can be welded to the bed floor in the case of a structural steel bed. This hitch plate enhances your truck's towing capacity by redistributing part of the load to the front axle, making it ideal for towing applications such as horse trailers, utility trailers, RVs, toy haulers, lawn care trailers, and car haulers, with a maximum gross trailer weight (M.G.T.W.) rating of 25,000 lb. Finished with a black powder coating for corrosion resistance, the kit includes a 2-5/16 in. hitch ball and two D-rings. The dimensions of the hitch plate are 42 inches in length, 13-1/2 inches in height, and 3/8 inches thick, ensuring sturdy and durable steel construction while allowing for a better turning radius when towing.
