The 50 ton air compensated pintle hook from Buyers Products is designed to cushion movement between the pintle hook and tow ring, effectively reducing wear and tear on components during sudden motion or braking situations. Utilizing the vehicle's air system, it holds the drawbar eye closely to minimize wear, absorb shock, and prevent uncoupling during operation. This pintle hook is suitable for heavy-duty applications, including trailers, semitrailers, and double and triple trailer operations, whether off-road or over-the-road. It can also function as a standard pintle hook without the air chamber and plunger. For off-road use, a load reduction of 25% is recommended, along with the use of a swivel type trailer drawbar.
