The Ingersoll Rand Beam Clamp BC-1 has a 2200 lb. capacity and is designed to provide a temporary or permanent mount to a wide range of tapered or flat beams, making it an ideal rigging device for lifting, pulling, or suspending loads. This beam clamp is engineered to achieve a minimum design factor of 5:1 for vertical lifting when used with powered or manual hoists or winches, in compliance with ASME B30.16 and ASME B30.7 standards. Quick and simple installation can be accomplished without tools, and the unit accommodates hook-mounted hoists or load blocks with minimal loss of headroom. The clamp jaws are specifically designed to reduce beam stress by applying the load inside the flange edge. Each unit is serialized and supplied with a test certificate and manual, and it is metric rated for vertical lifting or in-line pulling at 2200 lbs (1000 kg) per ton.
