The American Louver Stratus plastic cone diffuser is a ceiling-mounted unit designed with a 10" neck and R6 insulation, available in white. This all-plastic diffuser addresses common issues linked to metal diffusers by being rust-proof, scratch-resistant, and requiring no repainting, while closely resembling metal upon installation. It features a consistent smooth finish that resists sweating, is anti-static, and mildew resistant. The unit includes an insulation blanket that minimizes condensation and heat loss and is specifically designed to lay in a T-grid ceiling measuring 23" x 23". The composition consists of engineered polymers and stainless steel screws, while the insulation blanket provides R6 thermal resistance. It is flame resistant, meeting the UL 94HB flame spread test, and is significantly lighter than metal at 50% less weight. The diffuser also boasts an extra tall neck measuring 2 3/8" and is commercial dishwasher safe, with the assurance of being made in the U.S.A. The product is available in additional neck sizes of 6", 8", 12", and 14".
