The purge pump is designed to periodically expel water from the reservoir, effectively preventing mineral buildup in the cooler. This pump operates directly from the Mastercool MCP44 and MCP59's electronic control system, providing a more efficient solution compared to traditional purge mechanisms. It utilizes considerably less water than typical bleed-off systems, which helps to maintain clean media pads and extends their lifespan while reducing maintenance needs. The kit includes the pump, pump bracket, hose kit, screws for mounting the bracket, and an instruction sheet. It is compatible exclusively with Mastercool evaporative coolers, specifically the models MCP59, MCP44, MCP44E, WPL44, and WPL44NP.
