The G1 facepiece is a full face mask respirator that includes a 5-point Kevlar® harness and a small nose cup, designed to offer best-in-class comfort and a lightweight profile. It features a design without electronic components to minimize weight, reduce stress and fatigue, and enhance overall performance. This design approach eliminates external electronic components that could pose snag and entanglement hazards, while also significantly reducing costs associated with personal-issue facepieces. Additionally, the facepiece incorporates cross-contamination prevention to mitigate illness spread during shared use. The G1 facepiece boasts a low-profile design and is both durable and comfortable. It retains the preferred design aspects of the Ultra Elite facepiece, including a wide field of view and a robust seal geometry, and employs an open port to facilitate low breathing resistance while on and off air. This facepiece is specifically intended for use with G1 SCBA and serves markets such as fire service, general industry, oil and gas, and utilities.
