Amt Sprinkler/Booster Pumps are designed with 300 Series investment cast stainless steel closed impellers, ensuring high efficiency and resistance against erosion from abrasive particles. All models are capable of self-priming up to 20 feet and feature a dual volute design that reduces radial load on the motor, along with a built-in check valve for fast priming after the initial liquid is added to the pump. The pumps utilize a durable cast iron construction that requires low maintenance and include an easy cleanout design with a replaceable dual volute/diffuser and casing O-ring for servicing. They are equipped with Type 21 mechanical seals capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 150 PSI. The pumps are available with horsepower ranging from 3/4 to 7-1/2 HP and can be fitted with either open drip proof (ODP) or totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motors. Key specifications include a maximum solids size of 1/16”, a maximum temperature of 180 F, a maximum head of 180 ft, and a removable dual volute design.
