The Extreme Washguard All-Stainless Washdown Motor is a robust 3-phase motor designed for challenging environments, featuring .5/.33 HP and operating at 1725/1425 RPM. This motor has a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with a 56H frame and rigid C configuration, and it operates at voltages of 208-230/460V with a frequency of 60/50Hz. It has nameplate amps of 1.6/.8 & 1.4/.7, is rated for continuous duty with a 1.15 service factor, and does not incorporate thermal protection. The motor boasts an efficiency of 78.5 and is classified as standard efficiency, with ambient temperature tolerance up to 40°C and reverse rotation capabilities. It is engineered to meet EPACT standards for non-exempt motors when tested without shaft seals, features total winding encapsulation using an epoxy resin, and includes the Leeson exclusive IRIS™ inverter-rated insulation system. The motor is UL component recognized and holds CSA energy efficiency verification, with CSA certification for safety. Constructed with all exterior components made from 300-series stainless steel, it utilizes a Protech bearing isolator for the output shaft seal and a double lip Viton shaft seal on the non-drive output shaft for TEFC motors. The design minimizes exterior fasteners with no throughbolt configuration and includes screw-on conduit box covers. Pre-lubricated double-sealed bearings provide quick access for maintenance, and a rigid cast base ensures durability for rugged applications.
