Dura-Spike bird spikes are constructed from 100% stainless steel and come in three-foot lengths, facilitating quick application. The base of the spikes can be easily cut with snips or shears, allowing for adaptability as it gently curves or takes hard bends to conform to various building features. Designed for use on ledges, parapets, caps, roof peaks, and chimneys, these spikes specifically target pigeons and larger birds, providing a medium level of bird pressure (not suitable for areas where birds are nesting). The construction utilizes 304 grade stainless steel wires welded to the base, and installation is straightforward, requiring the base to be glued or screwed to any surface.
