The Magliner® motorized Dewar cylinder tank cart MDC90B-1 is designed to facilitate the movement of heavy tanks and cylinders, featuring a robust 1100 lb. capacity. This cart is powered by a 36V system that includes an automatic braking feature, which activates once the throttle is moved to neutral, effectively holding the load in place on ramps or inclines. A push-too-fast safety mechanism helps prevent runaway situations, even in free-wheel mode. The variable speed throttle allows for movement speeds up to 3.8 mph forward and 2.5 mph in reverse, while the permissive interlock feature prevents accidental activation of propulsion during operation of the Halo Hook or while tilting the rack. The Halo Hook actuator enables the safe positioning of the hook without placing the operator's hands near the tank or hook, with two Halo Hooks included—one for 20" Dewars and another for 26" Dewars. The cart can also accommodate up to four high-pressure cylinders when the nose plate is folded down, with an optional retention bar available. Load containment is provided by a standard single retractable ratchet strap. The unit includes a standard 36V propulsion system, 800W motor, 36V battery box assembly, and AC charger. Features include 13" maintenance-free foam filled wheels and two retractable ratchet straps, with a recharge time of 6 hours and a duty cycle of 6 hours continuous or 9 hours intermittent. No certification is required for operation.
