The Fowler® Shore D Portable Durometer is designed for testing the hardness of flexible materials such as rubber and plastics, conforming to Shore scales and manufactured in accordance with DIN, ASTM, ISO, and JIS specifications. The kit includes a reference test block, operating instructions, and a fitted case for easy storage and transport. Featuring a sharp 30° point, this durometer is ideal for testing hard rubber and hard synthetic materials, including acrylics, glass, polystyrol, thermoplastics, printing rolls, vinyl sheets, cellulose acetates, and densified wood.
