The GH Compact Heavy Duty unit heater is designed for use as primary or supplemental heat sources in large or exposed areas, including commercial stores, workshops, barns, storage sheds, and garages to prevent freezing. It features spiral finned steel elements and high air volume (CFM) for efficient heat exchange, resulting in cooler element operation and prolonged heater life. The unit incorporates high-quality components and a dynamically balanced fan blade for reliable, long-lasting service. Included are a power on indicator light and a red caution light that activates if the heater stops due to over temperature limit tripping. A universal wall/ceiling bracket facilitates quick and efficient installation, and the built-in thermostat allows the heater to turn on and off to maintain the desired room temperature; alternatively, it can be connected to a remote wall thermostat. The patented Smart Limit Protection ensures that the elements and motor are disconnected if normal operating temperatures are exceeded. The heater is prewired for easy conversion from the built-in thermostat to a wall-mounted line voltage thermostat, with an option to control it using a transformer relay for a remote 24V wall thermostat.
