Quick disconnect fittings consist of a socket and a plug, sometimes referred to as a coupling and an insert, which allow for easy connection and disconnection with the push of a latch. Upon disconnection, a built-in valve automatically halts the flow. These fittings are constructed from lightweight acetal plastic and feature a stainless steel latch, making them suitable for use with water, air, gas, and various chemicals. The fittings have a 1/4" compression end size designed for tube outer diameter (OD) applications.
