Quick disconnect fittings consist of a socket and a plug, also referred to as a coupling and an insert, which facilitate easy connection and disconnection with the push of a latch. Upon disconnection, a built-in valve automatically halts the flow. These fittings are constructed from lightweight acetal plastic and feature a stainless steel latch. They are suitable for use with water, air, gas, and various chemicals. The plug tip diameter measures 7/16 inches.
