This balance is equipped with five weighing applications, including density determination, percentage weighing, and dynamic weighing, making it suitable for use in science labs, universities, medical laboratories, and veterinary environments. Key characteristics of the Nimbus® balance include color-coded keys for quick recognition of frequently used buttons, a level indicator with adjustable feet to ensure proper setup for optimum weighing results, and a removable draft shield on models with 0.001 g readability to reduce errors from air currents. Its robust metal housing protects internal components in harsh environments, while the sealed keypad guards against dirt and spills. The balance also offers USB and RS-232 interfaces for speedy communication with computers and printers, and features a large, grade 304 stainless steel pan for easy cleaning.
