The Premier flammable storage freezer is designed to comply with NFPA and OSHA guidelines 45 and 70 for the refrigerated storage of flammable (volatile) materials in general laboratory work areas. The unit features a 14 cu. ft. capacity, a solid right-hinged swing door, and a microprocessor temperature controller with a digital temperature display that includes a sample simulated probe. It is equipped with audible and visual high and low temperature alarms, remote alarm contacts, and an adjustable operating temperature range of -15°C to -25°C. The interior includes six fixed shelves, while the exterior has a keyed door lock, magnetic door gasket for a positive seal, and leveling legs. Additionally, there's a probe access port (3/8"), a powder coat exterior, and high-density urethane foam cabinet and door insulation. The freezer utilizes HFC-free refrigerant (R290), and is covered by a two-year parts and labor warranty. Its exterior dimensions are 23-5/8"W x 24-3/8"D x 73"H, requiring a 4" clearance on the sides and back for adequate ventilation. It operates at 115V, 60 Hz, drawing 1.96 amps with a 1/2 HP compressor, and is UL/C-UL listed. It is important to note that these units are not designed for use in environments where volatile or explosive conditions could potentially exist, and periodic manual defrosting is required.
