The Decibel Meter is designed to continuously measure and display sound levels, alerting workers to the potential need for hearing protection. It features a lightweight, durable aluminum construction with a frameless visual edge design that captures attention. The device includes a three-digit, bright red LED display with 1 1/2" numbers that are easily viewable from distances up to 75 ft. It measures sound levels ranging from 30 to 130 dB, with an accuracy of +/- 0.5 dB, and requires no additional calibration or settings. The meter operates on 110/120 VAC and comes with an 8 ft. power cord and AC adapter. Its operational range is between 32° to 104° F and it functions effectively in 10 - 70% relative humidity, although it is not recommended for high humidity environments. This product supports OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 hearing conservation program requirements.
