The decibel meter continuously measures and displays the sound level to alert workers of the potential need for hearing protection. It features a lightweight, durable aluminum construction with a frameless visual edge design to capture attention. The three-digit, bright red LED display showcases 1 1/2" numbers that are viewable from 75 ft. away. The meter measures sound levels from 30 to 130 dB with an accuracy of ±0.5 dB and requires no additional calibration or settings. It operates on 110/120 VAC and comes with an 8 ft. power cord and AC adapter. The operational range for the device is 32° to 104° F and it functions effectively in 10–70% relative humidity, although it is not recommended for high humidity environments. Additionally, the meter supports OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 hearing conservation program requirements.
