Providing a safer and more secure work environment for employees, pharmacy safes have secure storage and enable controlled administration of narcotic medications within a pharmacy or medical facility where dealing with the potential threat of robbery, burglary, and internal theft are an ongoing concern. Dual doors provide added capacity and separate access control, offering two secure areas in one enclosure. The safe features a B-rated safe body, 1/2" solid A36 steel doors that are resistant to sledgehammer and pry bar attacks, and a formed, full-welded 1/4" body. It includes interior floor holes for securing bolt down, 1" diameter chromed live locking bolts, and an auto door detent that throws the bolts closed as the door is shut. A spring-loaded re-locker prevents the bolts from moving if the safe is attacked, while adjustable ball bearing hinges facilitate easier opening and closing of the door. The safe has a scratch-resistant hammer-tone gloss finish and includes six pull-out sliding drawers on each side. The total weight of the safe is 725 pounds. The SR2 lock features an electronic controller with an LCD display, menu-driven operation for ease of use, and the ability to control up to four doors with a single keypad. It has a wrong password lock-out penalty, programmable time delay options of 0-99 minutes and a 0-15 minute time window, time delay override, and supports two manager codes and up to 28 user codes. Optional dual control is available, requiring two codes to open the lock, and the system can be recovered to manufacturing defaults.
