The instrument features a broad range of capacities and resolutions to meet diverse needs, along with a large safety factor for overload protection and extended durability. It operates without batteries and offers a choice of dial sizes for optimal portability or visibility. The pressure bar is coated with powder finish, and the zero control allows for the cancellation of preset loads up to 20% of capacity. An anti-parallax dial and pointer ensure accurate readings from any perspective, while a maximum hand retains peak load points for easy resetting. The device comes equipped with a high-strength composite plastic case and an offset load beam to facilitate tension measurements. Additionally, shackles and pins are electroless nickel plated.
