The kit includes a protective garment with an arc rating of 9.8 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. It is constructed from PU coated FR cotton, featuring waterproof welded seams with reinforced stress points for enhanced durability. The design incorporates a batwing pattern that allows for freedom of movement, along with a contoured collar and tuck-away hood for versatility. Additional features include covered zippers and snap closures, FR hook and loop adjustable tab closures, and a back ventilation system equipped with FR mesh to improve airflow. The garment also provides a covered D-ring opening access, two reinforced front pockets with FR hook and loop closures, 2" silver reflective trim for visibility, adjustable cuffs, and a front storm flap. The FR polyurethane material is designed to be durable and flexible, ensuring it does not become brittle with age. The garment is compliant with several standards including NFPA 70E, ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3, CSA Z462, ASTM F2733, ASTM F1891, and OSHA 1910.269, and is proudly made in the USA.
