The kit includes rubber gloves that are electrically tested and stamped with the initial test date, with additional testing performed before shipment. These gloves must be put into use within 12 months of the test date and require retesting within 6 months from the date they are distributed to employees. They should be worn with 10-inch leather glove protectors to extend the lifespan of the rubber voltage gloves, although the leather protectors are not required to be marked with a date. The gloves are classified as Class 00 with a maximum use voltage of 500V AC and 750V DC and provide arc flash protection.
