The kit includes a protective garment with an arc rating of 8 cal/cm² and is classified as Category 2. It is constructed from 7 oz. Westex® Ultrasoft® fabric and features PureView™ faceshield technology, which provides an expanded range of visibility. The faceshield also comes with a premium anti-fog and scratch-resistant coating. The design includes an action back for a full range of motion, a flexible sewn-in elastic waist, and a 6 pocket style with side pass-through access for convenience. The leg openings are tailored to fit over work boots, and there is a covered 2-way zipper for easy wear. The garment complies with several standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269.
