The kit includes a protective gear set with an arc rating of 40 cal/cm² and a category (CAT) 4 rating, constructed from 9 oz. Westex® Ultrasoft® sateen in a double layer for enhanced durability. The breathable FR (flame-resistant) fabric will not melt, drip, or ignite, ensuring safety during use. It features an anti-fog faceshield made with PureView™ single-layer technology for high transparency. The hood is equipped with fans that are attached using FR hook and loop and are powered by 9-volt batteries, providing a gentle and quiet breeze to keep the user cool while minimizing lens fogging. A hard hat is included with a slotted adapter for added protection. The kit complies with several industry standards, including NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F2178, OSHA 1910.269, and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 (impact rating Z81+). All components of the kit are made in the USA.
