National Safety Apparel's 40 cal arc flash hood with ArcGuard® Compliance™ is constructed from a breathable, FR fabric that will not melt, drip, or ignite. This arc flash protection hood features an anti-fog and scratch-resistant PureView™ face shield for improved visibility and safety, as well as a hard hat with a slotted adapter. The hood complies with NFPA 70E and CAT Level 4 PPE head protection standards, boasting an arc rating of 40 cal/cm². It is made from 9 oz. Westex® Ultrasoft® sateen in a double layer, ensuring premium protection. Key features include the premium anti-fog and scratch-resistant coating on the face shield and PureView™ technology that offers a single-layer lens and an expanded range of visibility. The hood is also compliant with CSA Z462, ASTM F2178, OSHA 1910.269, and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 (Impact rating Z81+), with the product proudly made in the USA.
