The kit includes rubber gloves that are electrically tested and stamped with the initial test date, newly tested before shipment. These gloves must be put into use within 12 months of the test date, and once issued for use, they must be tested again within 6 months from the date they were distributed to employees. For increased lifespan, the rubber voltage gloves should be worn with 10-inch leather glove protectors, which are not required to be marked with a date. The gloves are Class 00 rated, with a maximum use voltage of 500V AC and 750V DC, and provide arc flash protection. They comply with NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, and ANSI/ASTM D120 standards, Class 00, Type 1. The product comes with warranty terms applicable as specified by the manufacturer.
