The kit includes a protective garment with an arc rating of 9 cal/cm², classified as Category 2 (Cat 2), made from an OPF blend twill fabric known for its exceptional tensile and tear strength. This material is moisture-wicking and fast-drying, providing excellent comfort along with durable protection. The garment features two chest pockets with flaps and snap closures, an action back for increased movement, and an inset elastic waistband. A covered flame-resistant (FR) zip front closure with additional snaps enhances safety, and the FR fabric will not melt, drip, or ignite, ensuring inherent flame resistance that does not wash or wear out. The anti-static fabric complies with shielding factor and half decay time requirements. This product is made in the USA with an inseam length of 32-1/2 inches. It meets various compliance standards including NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, OSHA 1910.269, and anti-static per EN 1149-5, as well as EN ISO 11611 A1 Class 2; A2 Class 2; 6.8 Impact of spatter Class 2; and 6.9 Heat transfer (radiation) Class 1.
